Snowy Utah

One weekend in October when Heather was working hard up in Utah, we decided to take a weekend vacation. I flew up to Salt Lake after work on a Friday and we started our little get away. When I arrived at the airport we took off to my aunt Donna's and uncle Art's house. Heather got to meet my sweet Great and aunt and uncle and enjoy their hospitality and stories. Later we hit up my old restaurant Tucanos. We had a some good food and stopped off at the movies later that night. In the morning we went and got some warm clothes at the mall and headed out to Bridal Veil Falls. Heather had never been there, and I would recommend that anyone go there that hasn't been. We made a short hike up to the base of the falls and took some fun pics and a video. After the falls, we headed over to Park City. After dropping our stuff off at the hotel, we decided to check out dowtown. Dowtown was a qaint old town style ski community. There were tons of fun little shops and eateries that we were able to visit. We then headed back and watched a movie at our hotel. Sunday morning we decided to go walk around Salt Lake. We stopped off at Gateway mall and we stopped by the Temple as well. We were able to take a tour of the visitor's center and watch a presentation as well. I don't remember the name of it, but the interior was setup like different rooms of a house. And every 2-3 minutes we walked to different rooms all while a video was playing. After taking some more pics and video we ended our refreshing little trip and headed back to the airport.

Honeymoon

We had a ton of fun chillin in the Bahamas. Even though we had initially wanted to relax a little more, we later decided to hit up the some of the fun attractions on Paradise Island and New Providence. The weather was phenomenal and the water was so clear that you could see the date on a quarter twenty feet down. We were lucky enough to see some stingrays and swim with a sea turtle. We even got to swim with two dolphins that played Flipper in the movie. Parasailing was an awesome first-time experience for us both as well. One day we decided to go to the Ocean Club to get a fancy meal. We started walking there, but then decided to take a cab. Little did we know that the only people allowed into the club were members, but our cab driver got us right in.

Just Married

Heather and Josh were married on July 26th, 2008 in the San Diego Temple. It can be said that they have never looked happier.  They are currently in the Bahamas on their honeymoon.  This blog was created by Heather's sister Lauren as a welcome back present. Here is a look at the sweet Bliss created by the new Mr. & Mrs. Tryon.
